Claude is the kind of tool where after using it you think "so AI doesn't have to be verbose." Real test: feed a 180-page SaaS service agreement to both Claude and ChatGPT for legal risk summaries — Claude identified 23 risk points, all with accurate page numbers; ChatGPT found only 17, with two page reference errors. When processing long documents, code reviews, or academic research, the quality difference of a large context window is decisive.
Coding ability is another of Claude's strengths. Its understanding of complex codebases, refactoring suggestions, and bug diagnosis quality are often rated by developers as higher than ChatGPT. Claude's generated code tends to be more concise, better commented, and more consistent in style. It also supports the Artifacts feature—directly rendering interactive HTML/CSS/JS previews in the conversation sidebar, delivering an excellent frontend development experience.
